The Risk: Damaging Your Factory Infotainment Logic Board

When the factory infotainment logic board is damaged, you will typically experience:

How to Prevent Logic Board Damage

Step 1: Switch Off the Headlight Dimmer and Ignition

After switching everything off, you must wait the appropriate amount of time before disconnecting the battery. The required wait time depends on whether your vehicle is enrolled in a Safety Connect system:
