What is Beat-Sonic USA?
Beat-Sonic USA makes plug-and-play car audio and electronics upgrades engineered for specific vehicles, primarily Toyota and Lexus, plus Porsche, BMW, Tesla, Honda, Subaru, Ford, Chevrolet and more. Every product connects to your factory wiring harness with OEM-style connectors, so there is no wire cutting and no permanent modification. We are the US branch of Beat-Sonic Japan and have served the car community since 2007. See what we make.
Where is Beat-Sonic USA located?
Our facility is at 14778 Beach Blvd, La Mirada, CA 90638. Operating hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm PST. You can reach us at (714) 994-1085 or info@beatsonicusa.com, and our contact form is answered 7 days a week.
Do you install what you sell?
Yes. Professional installation is available at our La Mirada, CA facility and through our nationwide network of authorized installers. Email info@beatsonicusa.com with your location and we will help you find the nearest installer.
How long does a typical install take?
It depends on the product and vehicle. Many of our plug-and-play products can be installed in well under an hour, while interface and stereo installs that require removing dash panels take longer. Every product has a step-by-step install video on our YouTube channel so you can see the exact process before you start.
Do I need an appointment?
Yes. Our La Mirada, CA facility is appointment-only and does not accept walk-ins. Please contact us first to schedule your installation. Reach out through our contact page or call (714) 994-1085 during operating hours, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:00pm PST.
Do you work on vehicles other than Toyota and Lexus?
Yes. While Toyota and Lexus are our specialty, our CarPlay interfaces also cover Porsche and BMW, our Encore amplifiers fit Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Ford, Chevrolet, Subaru and Mazda, and our ShiftPower throttle controllers cover more than 3,000 vehicle applications across most major brands. We also work on Tesla vehicles, installing smartphone mirroring and digital rear-view mirror upgrades.

Installation

Are Beat-Sonic products truly plug-and-play?
Yes. Products are engineered for your specific vehicle and connect to the factory harness using OEM-style connectors. There is no wire cutting, no splicing, and no permanent modification, and your factory features like the backup camera and steering wheel controls keep working.**For stereo replacement kits, a separate steering wheel control adapter may be needed and is available to purchase from us.
Do any installs require cutting or splicing factory wires?
Our products are designed so you do not need to cut or splice your factory wiring. Everything connects through OEM-style plugs. If a specific product ever needs anything beyond a plug connection, the install video and manual will show you exactly what to expect.
Can I install these myself or do I need a shop?
Many customers install our products themselves. They are designed for DIY with no special tools, and we provide a detailed install video for every product plus manuals on our Manuals page. If you would rather have it done for you, professional installation is available at our facility and through our authorized installer network.
Will a Beat-Sonic product void my factory warranty?
Our products are plug-and-play and fully reversible, using OEM-style connectors with no permanent modification, so they can be removed and the vehicle returned to stock. In the US, the Magnuson-Moss Warranty Act generally prevents a manufacturer from voiding your vehicle warranty simply because you installed an aftermarket part, unless they can show that the part caused the problem. Even so, if you have any concern about your specific vehicle or warranty, we recommend confirming with your dealer before installing.
Are the installs reversible?
Yes. Because everything connects through factory-style plugs with no cutting or permanent changes, our products can be uninstalled and your vehicle returned to its original factory condition.
What tools do I need for a DIY install?
It depends on the vehicle, and some installs need no tools at all. That said, around 90% of installs can be done with a common set of hand tools: a 10mm socket with ratchet and extension, a 10mm wrench, an 8mm socket, Phillips screwdrivers (long and short), flat-head screwdrivers (long and short), a clip removal tool, a plastic panel removal tool, a blanket or thick towel, and blue masking tape. Orders & Support

What is your return policy?
We have a 28-day return policy, so you have 28 days from the date of purchase to request a return. Items must be unused and in their original condition and packaging, with the instruction manual and all contents, and with no wiring cut or altered. Email info@beatsonicusa.com to request a Return Material Authorization (RMA#) before shipping anything back; returns without an RMA# are refused. You are responsible for return shipping, and shipping fees are non-refundable (if your order had free shipping, the original shipping cost is deducted from the refund). Once we receive and inspect your return, approved refunds go back to your original payment method within 5 business days. Gift cards, special-order parts from Japan, final sale items, and adhesive or sound deadening products with peeled backing cannot be returned. See the full Refund Policy. Separately, our products carry a limited warranty against manufacturer defects: 1 year on interface adapters, modules, video amplifiers, shark fin antennas and rear backup cameras, 2 years on Encore amplifiers (Alpha and X), 3 years on ShiftPower throttle controllers, and 90 days on mobile holders. My product arrived but something is missing, what do I do?
Contact us right away at info@beatsonicusa.com or through our contact page with your order number and a photo of what you received. Our team will make it right and get any missing parts out to you.
I need help with my install, how do I reach support?
Send us a message through the contact page with your order number, product name, and vehicle make, model, year and trim, plus photos or video of your install connections so we can help faster. You can also call (714) 994-1085 during operating hours or use our 24/7 AI customer service (beta). Every product also has an install video on our YouTube channel.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes. We ship to the USA, Canada, and Mexico, with free shipping on orders over $200 and 1 day order processing (excluding weekends and holidays). We also ship worldwide; for destinations outside the USA, Canada, and Mexico, some orders may be forwarded and processed by Beat-Sonic Co. Ltd. in Japan under their shipping terms. Compatibility & Fitment

How do I know if a product fits my vehicle?
Use the Quick Parts Finder on our homepage to search by Make, Model and Year, and check the compatible-vehicles list on each product and collection page. If you are unsure, email info@beatsonicusa.com with your vehicle details and we will confirm the right fit.
What year/trim information do I need before ordering?
Have your year, make, model and trim ready, along with your audio setup, for example whether you have a premium or JBL system, factory navigation, or a factory amplifier. We may also ask for your vehicle's screen size, whether it has a premium audio system such as Mark Levinson, Bang & Olufsen, or Bose, and the number of speakers. Those details determine which version of a product is correct for your car.
My vehicle has a JBL or premium audio system, does that change compatibility?
It can. Some vehicles with JBL or premium audio use different wiring or amplifier setups, so the correct kit may differ from a base-audio vehicle. Tell us your exact system when ordering, or check the product page notes, and we will point you to the right amplifier or interface.
I have a factory amplified system, does that affect which products I can use?
Yes, a factory amplifier can affect which audio products apply to your vehicle. Our Encore amplifier kits are designed to integrate cleanly with factory systems, but the right kit depends on your setup, so share your vehicle and audio configuration and we will confirm compatibility.
Will these products work if I already have an aftermarket head unit?
It depends on the product. Our stereo replacement kits are often built around aftermarket head units, while our CarPlay interfaces and camera interfaces are designed to work with your factory screen and radio and retain features like the factory backup camera. Tell us what head unit you have and we will recommend the right solution.
