I had a little frustration after the initial install though. The factory back-up camera wasn’t displaying. I called and was e-mailed trouble shooting instructions and a video while still on the phone. I tried all the suggestions but still no luck. I was able to speak with someone at Beat Sonic who worked with me giving me different suggestions until we finally figured out the issue and got everything to work. It works great now and am still very pleased. I’m defiantly going to recommend this product to anyone looking for this type of add on. The quality of the wiring harness is 5 star.
The first frustration is the algorithm that the system uses for turning on the front camera is strange. It turns it on at different speeds and I can’t figure out exactly when. Since it seems to come on at different speeds it can be rather distracting. Once it is on it stays for a limited amount of time (which you can set). So the camera comes on so I can get over a tricky boulder or up close in the garage and as I approach the hazard the camera turns off! I would think it should just stay on while you are at that speed below it’s threshold.
The other issue I have is that once the battery is disconnected the head unit does not recognize either camera until it is connected directly to the original back up camera. Not a big deal with the initial install but anytime in the future that the battery is disconnected I am going to have to remove my dash, take out the radio disconnect and reconnect the cameras and put it back together. That is a big issue. (Posted on 6/24/2020) - Awesome quality, super easy installReview by Weston

Being able to pull up the rear camera any time is super nice for checking on a trailer being towed or getting a better look behind me in general, and I used my new front camera input for a night vision thermal imager out of a Cadillac.
This all worked out so nicely that I’m tempted to get the same setup for my wife’s 4Runner too. (Posted on 1/4/2020) - Beat-Sonic CS6EP Toyota Front Camera InterfaceReview by Walter

1. The supplied button would not fit the only available blank I had in my dash so I had to sacrifice another function to use the supplied part.
2. The automatic low speed function on the front camera is not useful. It is supposed to turn on <10MPH but there is a marked delay in that function so that by the time the camera finally comes on you may be past the point where it would have been helpful. Also, the camera turns off at some low speed (0MPH?) and does not turn back on until the vehicle is moving again. For anyone that has approached a hazard and then crept forward again this is not useful. For the low-speed function to be useful the camera should come on at <10MPH (or even twice that) and stay on until the speed is exceeded on the other side of the hazard. Trying to use the manual "on" function doesn't work if automatic low speed feature is on because the low speed "feature" seizes control of the camera and then shuts it off. For use on the trail the manual function must be used. Likewise, if you're parking in a tight spot and speed is momentarily = 0MPH the camera goes off and stays off. Installation was easy, plug and play-no splicingof wires.
I ordered the OEM style camera switch with the kit and the Toyota emblem camera from amazon.
Although I didn’t have any blank spaces to install the OEM style switch, I do have the NSV light bar with the NSV switch panel in front of the shifter. I had just enough room to mount the switch thier.
Picture quality is good, I like the option from switching to the front or backup camera. Wish I did it a while back. Great option when pulling up to an object you can’t judge. (Posted on 4/4/2019) - CS6EP Toyota Front Camera InterfaceReview by rosco
