Beat-Sonic Encore Sigma Amplifier for Your Lexus IS 200t 250 300 500 without Mark Levinson
Coming Soon: Encore Sigma ENS-L202 for the Lexus IS
This product is not available yet. The Beat-Sonic Encore Sigma ENS-L202 for the 2014-2026 Lexus IS without Mark Levinson is still in development. The install below is a preview of the work in progress, not a product you can order today. You can follow it on the ENS-L202 product page. It will be $799, the same as the ENS-L201.
The Encore Sigma kit that is shipping now is the ENS-L201, for the 2024+ Lexus GX 550 and 2022+ Lexus NX without Mark Levinson. It does not fit a Lexus IS.
If you own a Lexus IS and want to be told the moment the ENS-L202 is available, email us with your year and trim and we will put you on the list. Please do not order another Encore kit expecting it to fit an IS.
Hello Lexus Owners
At Beat-Sonic, we think every Lexus owner deserves an exceptional audio experience. The Mark Levinson system is a genuinely good option, but plenty of people drive an IS 200t, 250, 300 or 500 without it, and they ask us the same question: how do I get better sound without tearing the car apart?
That is the gap the Encore Sigma ENS-L202 is being built to fill. It is designed to connect to the factory system and lift the whole thing without replacing the head unit or the speakers.
Preview: The Install on a Lexus IS 250
To show how straightforward this upgrade is meant to be, here is our team walking through the process on a 2015 Lexus IS 250. Treat this as a development preview, not a purchase guide.
What the ENS-L202 Is Designed to Do
Your Lexus IS is a well engineered car, but without the Mark Levinson system the factory audio can feel short on depth and clarity. Here is what this kit is being built to deliver.
- True plug and play: no cutting or splicing. The kit connects to the factory harness.
- Factory features retained: navigation, steering wheel controls and the OEM screen keep working.
- A real jump in output and clarity: more volume, fuller bass, crisper highs, using the speakers already in the car.
- Compact: mounts discreetly, in the trunk on this platform, without eating usable space.
- Eight channels with independent gain, plus an RCA output so a subwoofer can be added later.
How the Install Works
Step 1: Access the factory amplifier
On the Lexus IS 250 the factory amplifier sits in the trunk, on the passenger side rear corner. Remove a single bolt and gently pull the side panel back to expose the amplifier and its wiring harness.
Step 2: Connect the amplifier
Disconnect the main wiring harness from the factory amplifier. Connect one end of the Beat-Sonic harness to the factory wiring you just unplugged, and the other end to the Encore Sigma. Nothing is cut.
Step 3: Mount and finish
Secure the amplifier in the trunk with the supplied Velcro and the factory strap so it cannot shift, then reattach the side panel and the bolt.
Which Encore Kit Fits Your Lexus Today
While the ENS-L202 is in development, here is what is actually available:
- 2024+ Lexus GX 550 and 2022+ Lexus NX, without Mark Levinson: the Encore Sigma ENS-L201.
- Other Toyota and Lexus models: browse the plug and play amplifier collection, or email us your year, model and trim and we will tell you straight whether anything fits.
- Mark Levinson vehicles: there is no Beat-Sonic solution for the modern Mark Levinson systems and none is in development. If your Lexus has Mark Levinson, none of the Encore amplifiers will work.
Get Told First
We would rather tell you honestly that something is not ready than sell you a part that does not fit. If you want the Encore Sigma ENS-L202 for your Lexus IS the day it lands, check the product page or send us your year and trim and we will reach out when it is available.
