2026 Toyota Sienna Front Camera Install: CS15 Interface & BCAM13 Camera on Factory Screen

The 2026 Toyota Sienna is a great minivan. It's also a vehicle where the factory setup leaves one critical gap: you have no idea what's directly in front of you when you're pulling forward into a tight space. No front camera. No front visibility assist. Just guesswork — and eventually a curb check, a scraped bumper, or a close call you didn't see coming.

We installed a complete front camera system on a brand new 2026 Sienna in our shop using two Beat-Sonic products: the CS15 Front Camera Interface and the BCAM13 Universal Fit Front Camera. The camera feeds directly into the factory display — no aftermarket screen, no modifications to your infotainment system. Here's the full walkthrough.

Why the 2026 Toyota Sienna Needs a Front Camera

Minivans are long. The Sienna's hood is high and the front bumper drops below your line of sight. When you're pulling forward into a parking space, creeping out of a driveway, or navigating a tight garage, you can't see what's directly ahead of the front bumper. The factory backup camera handles what's behind you — but there's nothing for the front.

A front camera mounted at the grille eliminates that blind zone entirely. You can see exactly where your bumper ends, where the curb starts, and whether anyone is crossing in front of you. For a family vehicle that hauls kids and gear every day, this isn't a luxury upgrade — it's a safety one.

Products Used in This Install

CS15 — Front Camera Interface

The CS15 is the integration module that makes this whole system work through the factory screen. It daisy-chains directly onto the factory head unit connectors behind the radio — no cutting, no splicing into the factory wiring. The CS15 connects your front camera's RCA output to the OEM display, with a dedicated camera button to switch the view on demand.

What makes the CS15 especially capable for the 2026 Sienna is its support for an additional video input. Beyond the front camera, you can add a second camera source — a side camera, a cabin camera, or any auxiliary RCA video input — and switch between them using the same button. It also includes programmable functions: auto turn-on at parking lot speeds and push-to-view backup camera on a second button press.

BCAM13 — Universal Fit Front Camera

The BCAM13 is our new universal-fit front camera. Unlike vehicle-specific cameras, the BCAM13 is designed to be mounted in multiple orientations depending on the application — forward-facing or inverted depending on where it's positioned on the vehicle. Wide-angle coverage, built to handle daily use on a family vehicle.

On the Sienna, the BCAM13 mounts at the front grille area. Because of the limited space between the grille and bumper structure, we used a Dremel to create just enough clearance for a flush mount — so the camera sits tight and clean, not protruding. The customer specifically wanted it to sit as far recessed as possible, and the BCAM13's mounting flexibility made that work.

CS15 + BCAM13 Install on a 2026 Toyota Sienna: Step by Step

Step 1: Remove the Panel Behind the Radio

Start by locating the plastic trim panel directly behind the radio screen. This panel is held in by clips — no screws. Use a plastic panel removal tool and work from left to right, releasing the clips gradually. Once you get a gap started, the panel comes off cleanly. With that panel removed, you'll see the radio held in by four 10mm bolts — one at each corner. Remove those bolts, lay a thick towel on the center console, and pull the radio forward.

With the radio pulled out, disconnect the connectors on the bottom left and optionally the black and brown cables up top for more working room. The two connectors you'll be working with for the CS15 are the main factory camera/display connectors — these are what the CS15 daisy-chains into.

Step 2: Connect the CS15 Module

The CS15 kit includes two bags of connectors. Disconnect the two factory connectors behind the radio by pressing the release tabs and pulling up. The CS15 connectors labeled A and B plug directly into where the factory connectors were, and the factory connectors then plug back into the CS15. This is the daisy-chain method — no wires cut, the factory system stays intact and continues to function normally.

From the CS15 module: the main RCA input accepts the front camera signal. A secondary RCA input is available if you want to add a second camera source later. Camera power and ground wires connect to the BCAM13. The switch connector routes to the camera button.

Step 3: Route and Mount the Camera Button

The CS15 camera button mounts on the driver-side A-pillar area, positioned next to the factory automatic high beam button on the left side of the steering column. To get there, remove the driver-side door sill trim and the lower dash panels — all clip-retained, no screws. Route the switch harness from behind the radio, through the dash, and up to the button location. A wire routing tool (or straightened wire hanger) helps fish the cable through tight sections.

Once the cable is routed and connected to the back of the button, peel the adhesive backing and press the button into its mounting position. Route excess wiring neatly and zip-tie everything before reinstalling the panels.

Step 4: Route the Camera Cables Through the Engine Bay

This is the most involved part of the install. The BCAM13 camera mounts at the front of the vehicle, so its cables need to travel from the front bumper, through the engine bay, through the firewall grommet, and up behind the radio to connect to the CS15.

The firewall grommet on the 2026 Sienna is located above the glove box on the passenger side — near the AC fan motor. Use a puncture tool (available on Amazon for a few dollars) to push through the grommet, then feed the camera cable through from the engine bay side. Once the cable tip comes through inside the cabin, pull it through and route it up behind the glove box and dash to the radio area.

In the engine bay, route the camera cable along the existing wire loom — hugging the loom tightly and zip-tying at intervals to keep everything clean and out of moving parts. Run it under the low-pressure AC valve, along the fender, and toward the front of the vehicle. The cable connects to the BCAM13 at the grille using bullet connectors (included), then the RCA side routes back to the CS15 module behind the radio.

Step 5: Power, Ground, and Final Connections

The BCAM13 requires a power wire and a ground wire. Match the wire colors from the CS15 harness to the BCAM13 camera harness, crimp bullet connectors onto each end, and connect them. Wrap the connection points with electrical tape for insulation. Route the connected wiring neatly behind the radio and use the double-sided tape on the back of the CS15 module to mount it flat to a clean surface inside the dash cavity.

Reconnect all factory radio connectors, slide the radio back into position, and reinstall the four 10mm bolts. Reinstall the plastic panel. The install is complete.

CS15 Demo and Programming on the 2026 Sienna

Basic Operation

Turn on the car. Your factory screen and everything else operates exactly as it did from the factory. The only change is the camera button mounted on the left side of the dash. Press it once — front camera view appears on the factory screen. Press it again — back to the factory display. Clean, simple, no UI changes to the OEM system.

Programmable Functions

The CS15 has two programmable functions we activated on this Sienna:

  • Auto Front Camera Turn-On (Mode B — 2 blinks): When the car slows to parking lot speeds, the front camera activates automatically on the factory screen. No button press needed — it turns on whenever you're maneuvering at low speed.
  • Push-to-View Backup Camera (Mode D — rapid green flash): With this enabled, a second press of the camera button shows the factory backup camera — even while the car is in drive. You can check what's behind you at any time without putting the car in reverse.

To program these settings, hold the camera button while turning on the car, observe the LED blink pattern, cycle to the desired mode, and hold again to save. The CS15 instruction manual walks through every programmable option — there are additional configurations available beyond the two we activated here.

The End Result: Factory Feel, Real Front Visibility

After this install, the 2026 Sienna drives completely normally. Nothing changed about the infotainment system, the factory backup camera, or any other OEM function. The only addition is a camera button and a front camera view that makes every parking maneuver, every driveway exit, and every tight squeeze significantly safer.

This is the install we'd recommend doing on day one for any Toyota Sienna. The CS15 and BCAM13 are both in stock and ship from Beat-Sonic USA. Questions about the install? Leave a comment on the video — we answer everything. Or reach out to us directly.
