The Beat-Sonic USA TESLM2 is a plug-and-play smartphone mirroring kit built specifically for the 2017-2023 Tesla Model 3 and Model Y with HW3. Mirror your iPhone or Android phone directly to your factory Tesla screen - including Apple Maps, Google Maps, YouTube, Netflix, and more - with high-definition picture quality and audio through your Tesla's Bluetooth sound system. No modifications to the factory harness, fully reversible, and all factory functions including backup camera and phone calls remain completely unaffected.

Frequently asked questions
How do I confirm my Tesla has HW3 and not HW4?
Navigate to Controls > Software > Additional Vehicle Information on your Tesla's touchscreen. If you see HW3, this kit is compatible. HW4 began production May-June 2023 for Model Y and with the 2024 Model 3 Highland refresh.
Is the TESLM2 all I need?
No. Smartphone-specific adapters are required depending on your device. See the requirements section above.
Will mirroring start automatically when I connect my phone?
No. The mirrored image displays on the factory screen only after pressing the included control button.
Can I charge my phone while mirroring?
The power consumed during mirroring may exceed the charging rate, causing the battery to slowly drain. Dimming your phone's screen brightness and closing background apps will significantly reduce power consumption without affecting the image on your Tesla's screen.
Is there any audio delay?
There is a slight delay of approximately 0.05 seconds between sound and video when using Bluetooth audio. A cigarette lighter FM transmitter may be used as an alternative for zero delay between video and sound.
Can I mirror devices other than my phone?
Yes. Any device that outputs HDMI video with an appropriate adapter can be mirrored through the TESLM2.
Will my backup camera still work?
Yes. All factory functions including the backup camera and phone calls are unaffected.
Does this ship to Canada or internationally?
Yes. We ship to Canada and Mexico.
