How it works
Your Toyota or Lexus auto-dimming rearview mirror already has a powered wire harness behind it. The DCU-T101 plugs directly into that harness using a vehicle-specific 10-pin connector and provides up to 15W USB-C output for your dash cam. Your mirror's auto-dimming function continues working normally. Power turns on and off automatically with the ignition - no timers, no manual switching.

Frequently asked questions
Will this work with any dash cam?
Yes. The DCU-T101 includes three USB cables - USB-C, Micro USB, and Mini USB - covering virtually all current dash cam models. If your dash cam charges via USB it will work.
Will my auto-dimming mirror still work after installation?
Yes. The DCU-T101 taps into the mirror harness without interrupting the mirror's auto-dimming function. It continues to work exactly as before.
Do I need to tap into a fuse or run a wire to the fuse box?
No. That is the whole point of this kit. It uses the power already going to your mirror. No fuse tap, no fuse box access, no additional wiring required.
Will the dash cam stay on when the car is off?
No. The DCU-T101 powers on and off automatically with the vehicle ignition. If you need parking mode recording, you will need a separate dash cam battery pack or hardwire kit for that function purchased separately from your dash cam manufacturer.
How do I know if my vehicle has an auto-dimming mirror?
Auto-dimming mirrors have a small sensor on the front face and usually a button or buttons on the bottom edge. Check the table above for confirmed compatible vehicles. If your model is listed as Not Compatible it means the mirror harness does not provide the right power configuration for this adapter.
