Why the factory tail lights hold the 991.1 back
The 991.1 generation brought the 911 into the modern era, but the factory incandescent rear lights remain one of the few elements that visually date the car. The AlphaRex NOVA-Series units replace the entire rear lamp assembly with a full LED setup engineered specifically for the 991.1 chassis. Sequential turn signals, a startup activation sweep, and dimensional prismatic optics all operate through the factory wiring harness with no dealer visit required.

Built for the standard 2012-2016 Porsche 911 (991.1) coupe and cabriolet. Not currently recommended for Carrera 4, Carrera 4S, or Targa models equipped with a center brake light, as a color-matched center unit is not currently available. Frequently asked questions
Will these fit my Carrera 4S or Targa?
Not currently. These are built for the standard 991.1 coupe and cabriolet. Carrera 4, 4S, and Targa models with a center brake light require a matching center unit that is not yet available for this series.
Do these require coding or a resistor?
No. The NOVA-Series units plug directly into the factory harness and operate without any coding or aftermarket resistors. Sequential turn signal function is built in.
Are these DOT compliant?
Yes. AlphaRex NOVA-Series tail lights meet DOT lighting standards for on-road use in the United States.
What is included in the box?
Left and right tail light assemblies plus warranty and instructions manual. No additional parts are needed for a standard 991.1 installation.
