The Beat-Sonic IF-04BEP is a plug-and-play smartphone mirroring kit for select 2013–2020 Lexus models and Toyota Land Cruiser equipped with factory navigation. Mirror your iPhone or Android screen directly to your factory Lexus display — including Google Maps, YouTube, images, and more — with no permanent modifications to the factory harness. The IF-04BEP also includes a video and navigation in motion controller, unlocking grayed-out features while driving such as navigation input, Bluetooth, and DVD playback.

What the IF-04BEP does

Factory Lexus navigation screens are locked to a single input — there is no native way to display your phone screen without adding a dedicated interface. The IF-04BEP bridges that gap by converting an HDMI signal from your phone into an RCA signal readable by the factory display, feeding it into the AUX AV input of your factory head unit via a plug-and-play harness. The included video and navigation in motion controller (Beat-Sonic NDS6223EP) simultaneously unlocks all features that the factory system grays out while the vehicle is in motion.

Note on resolution: the factory Lexus screen reads RCA analog signal only. HDMI is converted to RCA during this process, which results in some signal loss. The highest factory screen resolution in the Lexus lineup is 1280 x 480, so the output is not HD quality. Video quality also depends on your mobile carrier's streaming plan.

• Note: Google Pixel phones additionally require a Google Chromecast and mobile hotspot

Frequently asked questions

Is the IF-04BEP all I need to mirror my iPhone?
No. You also need to purchase an Apple Lightning Digital AV Adapter (MD826AM/A), a 4-inch Lightning to USB charging cable, and two 3-foot Lightning extension cables separately.

Is the IF-04BEP all I need to mirror my Android phone?
No. You also need a wireless HDMI display dongle adapter with Miracast purchased separately. Google Pixel users additionally need a Chromecast and mobile hotspot.

Will the video quality be HD?

Will my factory AUX input still work?
No. The factory 3.5mm AUX input is disabled after the IF-04BEP is installed. The factory USB port remains fully functional.

Will this void my Lexus warranty?
The IF-04BEP components are installed behind the factory radio and involve no permanent modifications. However if your vehicle goes to a dealership for stereo or navigation service and a technician spots the kit, they may not honor the warranty for that repair.

Can I charge my iPhone while it is mirrored?
The iPhone consumes more power while mirroring than the kit supplies, so the battery will slowly drain. Reducing screen brightness on the iPhone will significantly slow the drain without affecting the image on the factory screen.
