The FDX5 has a flat base design and slightly different dimensions - 6.4 x 3.8 x 2.8 inches. The FDX3 is larger at 8 x 4.3 x 2.75 inches and the FDX4 is 6.22 x 3.3 x 2.87 inches. The flat base of the FDX5 works best on flat or very mildly curved roof surfaces.
Will this fit if my roof is curved near the antenna?
