Why your factory stereo sounds underwhelming - and how the ENA-2T1 fixes it

Toyota, Scion, and Subaru factory head units are built to a cost. The amplifier stage inside your OEM radio or external amplifier is one of the first areas where manufacturers cut corners, resulting in a flat, compressed sound even through otherwise decent factory speakers. The ENA-2T1 solves this by strengthening and optimizing the audio signal before it reaches your factory amplifier - giving it a cleaner, more powerful signal to work with, and allowing your factory system to perform closer to its true potential across all frequency ranges.

Your factory head unit, steering wheel controls, and speakers all stay in place and continue to work exactly as before. You simply get the sound your system was always capable of - finally unlocked.

Frequently asked questions

Will I need to replace my factory speakers or head unit?
No. The ENA-2T1 works with your existing factory head unit and speakers. You keep everything in place - the amp simply adds power and clarity to what you already have.

Is this compatible with aftermarket head units?
The ENA-2T1 works with aftermarket head units as long as the factory head unit retains the factory connectors that our ENA-2T1 plug and play harness connects to.

Is this compatible with JBL or Harman Kardon factory systems?
Compatibility varies by model. If you are unsure whether your vehicle has JBL or Harman Kardon, email info@beatsonicusa.com with your year, model, and trim before purchasing. If using new aftermarket speakers, keep the impedance at 4Ω for non-JBL models.

Some Lexus models say they require an extension cable - is that included?
The extension cable is included if you selected the appropriate Lexus vehicle on the drop down menu. The models that require it are noted in the compatibility list above. Email info@beatsonicusa.com if you have questions about your specific vehicle.

Can I use aftermarket speakers with this amp?
Yes. If using new aftermarket speakers, keep the impedance at 4Ω-8Ω.

Will my steering wheel controls still work?
Yes. All factory features including steering wheel controls and your factory display continue to work normally.

What is the RMS output vs. peak output?
The 45W x 4ch rating is peak output. RMS is the continuous power output your amp delivers - peak is during short bursts. This is standard across the amplifier industry.

How long does installation take?
Most installs take about 2 hours following our YouTube video guide. Professional installation is available in Southern California or through our authorized installer network worldwide.

Does this ship to Canada or internationally?

So much better

The blast system in my Tundra was very gutless before. Since installing the amp it is much more crisp sounding with some deep base. If you're looking to offend your neighbors its not for you but if you want a nice upgrade from stock it's amazing!!!

Excellent amp for its intended purpose.

An excellent amp for its intended purpose, which is to improve sound quality with ease of installation in a very compact unit. If you're looking for major power and to have the bass rattle your car windows, this isn't for you. If you want a noticeable improvement in sound quality, this is it.
I have purchased two of these amps, one for my 22 Corolla and another for my fiancee's 2013 Sienna. There is definitely an improvement in audio quality. We recently bought a CD for her Sienna (yes, in that year they still had CD players, LOL) and it sounded pretty lifeless until I installed the amp, at which point it came alive. I have to note that both our cars have aftermarket Infinity speakers in the fronts, so we'll never know how the amp would make an OEM speaker sound. If this amp is intended to make OEM speakers sound better, then good quality aftermarket speakers would make even more of a difference.
A few notes:
1. Not truly plug n play on some vehicles due to a separate ground connection, but that's no big deal. Beatsonic has been working on integrating the grounds into the harnesses.
2. The amps can get fairly hot (not just warm, but actually hot to the touch). They told me that's normal, but is it really? It's a minor concern.
3. The advertised 45W power is PEAK, which means it can produce that power in short bursts, but not constantly. What I would call the ACTUAL power is 23W RMS, which is the power it outputs constantly. Still very good for what it does.
4. A possible recommendation for Beatsonic: they might want to think about selling vehicle-specific harnesses separately in case you get a new car and want to transfer the amplifier. Just a thought because it may not be possible or practical from a business perspective.
