Upgrade your factory audio with a Beat-Sonic car amplifier kit engineered for clean power, vehicle-specific fitment, and plug-and-play installation. The Encore amplifier collection integrates directly with your factory head unit and speakers. There is no wire cutting, no harness modifications, and no head unit replacement required. The result is dramatically clearer sound and more powerful output than your factory system can produce on its own.
Plug-and-Play Car Amplifier Kits, No Wire Cutting Required
Every Beat-Sonic plug-and-play amplifier kit installs using vehicle-specific connectors that plug directly into your factory wiring harness. No wire cutting, no soldering, no special tools required. The compact car amplifier mounts behind the dash or under a seat, and the OEM-style harness ensures a precise, factory quality connection every time. Most installs take about two hours following the Beat-Sonic USA YouTube installation video.
This is the same plug-and-play philosophy Beat-Sonic USA applies across every product category. Install once, drive away with better sound. No permanent modifications, no dealership visit, no compromise to your factory features.
Three Encore Amplifier Series: Alpha, X, and Sigma
The Encore amplifier collection includes three distinct series, each engineered for a different type of factory audio system and a different type of buyer.
Encore Alpha (ENA Series): Pure Plug-and-Play Amplification
The Encore Alpha is the car amp kit for drivers who want significantly better sound without the complexity of DSP tuning. It delivers clean, powerful 4-channel output to your factory speakers using high-quality electrolytic and low impedance capacitors, with extra-thick 70μ copper traces that improve frequency response across the full audio range from deep bass to high treble. FET operational amplifiers in the input section preserve fine recording details such as vocal breath tones, instrument texture, and spatial cues that factory amplifiers typically lose.
Encore Alpha is offered in two generations: ENA-2 and ENA-3. The differences matter. See the comparison section below.
Encore X (ENX Series): 4-Channel DSP Amplifier Kit with Vehicle-Specific
Tuning
The Encore X is a DSP amplifier kit that combines a 4-channel Class-D amplifier with built-in Digital Signal Processor technology. Every ENX unit ships pre-loaded with vehicle-specific sound files tuned by Beat-Sonic engineers for your exact cabin acoustics, speaker positions, and factory system characteristics. Install it, plug in, and the tuning is already done.
Built-in DSP features include digital time alignment to compensate for speaker positioning, active crossovers for precise frequency division, parametric EQ for detailed tonal shaping, and independent channel level controls. Six RCA outputs with two dedicated subwoofer pre-outs make it easy to expand your system later.
Advanced users can download free DSP tuning software to customize audio parameters beyond the pre-tuned settings. The ENX is the right choice when you want the cleanest possible sound stage in your specific vehicle, with the option to fine-tune everything yourself.
Encore Sigma (ENS Series): 8-Channel Premium Sound Upgrade Kit for Lexus
The Encore Sigma (Σ) is engineered specifically for Lexus vehicles equipped with a factory premium sound system. While Alpha and X are 4-channel amplifiers built for standard factory systems, Sigma is an 8-channel amplifier built to push an already-good factory premium system to a higher level. There is no need to replace the speakers, head unit, or any factory components. It is currently available for the 2024+ Lexus GX 550 and 2022+ Lexus NX 250, NX 350, and NX 450h.
Important compatibility note: the Encore Sigma is only compatible with non-Mark Levinson vehicles. Mark Levinson equipped models are not supported. Verify your factory audio configuration before ordering.
The Sigma kit retains the original system’s tuning character while elevating clarity, depth, and detail. Vocals become more immediate, instruments more defined, and the soundstage more three-dimensional. Bass is deeper and tighter, midrange is clearer, and highs are more articulate without changing a single factory component. Installation is plug-and-play at the factory amplifier location (under the driver’s seat on the GX 550, for example) with no wiring modifications.
Sigma is the right choice when you have a non-Mark Levinson Lexus GX 550 or NX premium sound system and want a meaningful upgrade without a full aftermarket overhaul.
Encore Alpha 2 vs. Encore Alpha 3: What’s the Difference?
Both ENA-2 and ENA-3 share the same Encore Alpha core: 4-channel plug-and-play amplification, FET op amp input stage, premium acoustic components, and ultra-compact form factor. The differences come down to power output, subwoofer expansion capability, and vehicle compatibility.
Encore Alpha 2 (ENA-2 Series)
- 45W x 4-channel output
- High-level RCA input for connecting an external media player or aftermarket source
- Compatible with Toyota and Lexus (including select JBL-equipped models. Check fitment guide.)
- No dedicated subwoofer pre-out
ENA-2 is the right pick when you want a clean factory audio upgrade and don’t plan to add a powered subwoofer.
Encore Alpha 3 (ENA-3 Series)
- 50W x 4-channel output (slightly more power than ENA-2)
- Dedicated RCA subwoofer output for adding a powered subwoofer with no extra wiring complexity
- Expanded vehicle compatibility: Subaru, Honda, Chevrolet, Ford, Mazda, Nissan, and additional Toyota and Lexus models
- Harman Kardon-compatible variants available for select vehicles (additional module included when required)
ENA-3 is the right pick when you want the option to add a subwoofer later, or when your vehicle isn’t covered by the ENA-2 lineup. The dedicated RCA sub output is the practical difference most buyers care about. It makes future expansion straightforward instead of requiring a line-output converter.
Both share the same Beat-Sonic Encore sound signature: clearer separation between lows, mids, and highs; high-resolution detail in vocals and instrumentation; more powerful output without distortion at higher volumes.
What You Get with a Beat-Sonic Amplifier Kit
Every Encore series (Alpha, X, and Sigma) delivers the same core upgrades over a factory audio system:
- Clearer full-range sound with better separation between lows, mids, and highs
- More powerful output without distortion at higher volumes
- High-resolution detail revealing recording elements your factory amp loses
- Works with your factory head unit, factory speakers, steering wheel controls, and CarPlay. Nothing is replaced or disabled.
- Vehicle-specific engineering for clean OEM integration
Vehicle-Specific Engineering, Not Generic Hardware
Beat-Sonic Encore amplifiers are engineered for specific Toyota, Lexus, Honda, Subaru, Chevrolet, Ford, Mazda, and Nissan models. They are not adapted from generic universal hardware. The harnesses, power ratings, DSP tuning (on ENX models), and Premium-system tuning (on Sigma models) are matched to your vehicle’s exact factory wiring, speaker locations, and cabin acoustics.
Detailed installation manuals are provided for each specific vehicle and trim combination, and step-by-step installation videos are available on the Beat-Sonic USA YouTube channel. Local professional installation is available at our facility in La Mirada, CA. Email info@beatsonicusa.com to schedule an appointment.
