  • A: You may listen to the car's native radio or SAT radio while in Carplay / Android Auto mode. However, you will not be able to hear Siri and turn by turn voice guidance. Instead, you may download the SAT radio application and/or radio application on your phone so that you may listen to the radio / SAT radio while in Carplay / Android Auto mode and hear Siri/turn by turn voice guidance.
  • Q: Is this compatible together with Beat-Sonic Front Camera Adapter?
  • A: Yes, this kit works great together with our front Camera Adapter
  • Q: Can I use my smartphone mirroring kit together with this kit?
  • A: Yes, both will work together without issues.

  • Q: Does this work Wirelessly?
  • A: Yes, this kit supports both wired and wireless solution
  • Q: Will the audio quality be the same as the factory’s quality?
  • A: Audio quality will be the same as factory as the audio is routed to the car's bluetooth. You may even use your factory USB port if you have an iPhone for audio while in Carplay mode.
  • Q:Can we use usb inside arm rest (2 usb ports) to connect to this device?
  • A: Unfortunately this kit is not compatible with a 2hub system USB. If you have the single USB system, you can reuse the factory USB plug using an optional harness.
  • Q: May I route the USB cable to the factory USB ports in the center console?
  • A: Yes, you may route the USB cable to where you desire. 
  • Q: Will I lose factory USB ports from functioning?
  • A: No, you will be able to keep factory USB ports and will continue to work with your factory infotainment system.
  • Q: Will the phone charge while in Carplay / Android Auto mode?
  • A: Yes, the phone will charge while being connected.
  • Q: Will this unit receive regular apple carplay updates like stock units?
  • A: The actual update is being done on your phone and will reflect on device when you use it.

Great Product, Great after sale support. I would buy again

I bought this for my 2020 Land Cruiser. I installed it myself the hardest part was routing the wires from the top to the bottom as described to make sure the GPS kept working. A few items to note they have TWO videos on installation, I would suggest watching them both. One goes into more detail on the connecting of the phone wired / wireless to the beat sonic kit. Also they mention you don't need magnetic 10mm sockets. I am clumsy and would suggest that you use magnetic sockets because I did not I now have a screw and bolt somewhere in my dash ( completely my fat fingered fault ). I would suggest this product to anyone wanting Apple Car play / Android Auto in their Land Cruiser. It has only froze rarely, I would say no more than Waze does on a factory system.
I had it all working then changed settings on my phone , it quit working wirelessly. I sent an email they responded with a actual response NOT a canned response. I had it working again and have not had a problem since then.
Definitely would buy again and would recommend it to others.

Installation wasn't too bad.
Video could've been clearer about how they did the wiring under the glovebox and kept the installation clean, but overall no major issues.
Sometimes the phone gets disconnected when you walk away or in low reception areas for some reason, as well as switching back to the native navigation screen throws the GPS off a bit (even though I routed the cables as the video mentioned) but it eventually re-calibrates properly.
