First I tried using the cheap Metra piece to keep the factory amp. thinking that it will do the same job, but I was wrong.Satisfaction
Sound quality was very disappointing and I'm very happy that I got Beat-Sonic product installed, even though I had to pay $380 for the full kit.
Yes, it was expensive, but considering I would only change my radio one time, I think it was well spent.
