The Beat-Sonic MVX-140L is a complete plug-and-play double DIN integration adapter kit for the 2006-2009 Lexus IS 250, IS 350, and IS-F with factory navigation. Replace your factory head unit with any major aftermarket double DIN stereo while retaining your factory amplifier, speakers, factory navigation screen, climate control, and backup camera - plus a video input is added to the factory screen. OEM-quality dash fit, made in Japan.

Note: suitable for automatic transmission only. Not compatible with 2010+ IS models - the infotainment system changed significantly with the 2010 refresh. Steering wheel audio control retention requires a separate Metra Axxess ASWC-1 steering wheel interface, available as an add-on option.

Compatible vehicles

Steering wheel control setup - Metra Axxess ASWC-1

To retain steering wheel audio controls using the Metra Axxess ASWC-1, follow these wiring steps:

1. Connect SW1 (pin 7, white wire) of the MVX-140L to the Green/Yellow (sometimes brown) wire of the ASWC-1.
2. Connect SWG (pin 6, black wire) of the MVX-140L to ground (black wire on the ASWC-1).
3. Disconnect the bullet connector SW2 (pin 8, green) from the harness and connect the green wire (20-pin connector side, not the adapter side) to the Black/Green wire of the ASWC-1.
4. Connect the red wire on the ASWC-1 to ACC.
5. Power on the system and allow the ASWC-1 to complete its self-learning process.

Frequently asked questions

Is this compatible with 2010+ Lexus IS models?
No. The MVX-140L is only compatible with 2006-2009 IS 250, IS 350, and IS-F. The 2010 refresh introduced a different infotainment system that looks similar but is not compatible with this kit.

Does this work with manual transmission IS models?
No. The MVX-140L is suitable for automatic transmission only.

Will my factory navigation, backup camera, and amplifier still work?
Yes. The MVX-140L retains your factory navigation screen, backup camera, amplifier, speakers, and climate control. It also adds a video input to the factory screen.

Will my steering wheel audio controls work?
The MVX-140L provides the connection for steering wheel audio controls, but full function requires the Metra Axxess ASWC-1 steering wheel interface available as an add-on. See the wiring instructions above.
