Background:
As of now, there is no plug and play solution for the 1998-2002 Nakamichi and Lexus Premium equipped LX 470 models to add aftermarket headunit. The only way in installing an aftermarket head unit is to bypass the factory OEM Nakamichi or Lexus Premium amplifier. However, if your vehicle is equipped with Mark Levinson, you may use the SLA-100FB/82AAD for a plug and play installation.

Needed items:
1. Dash installation kit: SLA-100FB
2. Aftermarket headunit + any additional peripherals that you want to install: bluetooth, DVD, ipod interface, etc.
3. Aftermarket 2 channel amplifier for the woofers.

Step 1: Locate the factory OEM amplifier under the passenger's seat.

Step 2: Remove S10, 13 Pin connector from factory amplifier and connect new audio's speaker line to car side connectors.

Step 3: Factory OEM sub woofer will not sound after above installation. If you want to keep the OEM sub woofers working , please follow below procedures:

① Connect aftermarket 2ch power amplifier to new audio's woofer output.
② Remove the S11 connector from factory amplifier and connect 2ch power amplifier speaker output to car side connectors.

Additional Notes and links:
Without using an aftermarket 2ch amplifier, it is not possible to retain the use of OEM sub woofer.
