  • Smartphone Mirroring using MHL (Samsung Phones)

In this article, we are going to talk about the Samsung device specific MHL adapters.

What is MHL (Mobile High-definition Link)?

    1. High Resolution : MHL currently supports up to 8K video resolution, allowing you to see your content the way it was meant to be seen.
    2. Immersive Audio : MHL delivers enhanced audio through its support of Dolby Atmos and DTS:X.
    3. No Lag : MHL offers a zero-lag, seamless connection from mobile devices to screen.

Are all MHL adapters the same?

    • In general, MHL adapters are backwards compatible, so you can use newer adapters with older phones.
    • Samsung devices use 11-pin Micro USB port instead of the standard 5-pin connector.  Either a Samsung specific MHL adapter or an 11-pin to 5-pin converter is required for use with the standard adapters.
